There are a large variety of dishes and all of the items arrived to our table piping hot. The service was quite fast and friendly. I wouldn’t describe the food as outstanding, just good. I was hoping that the dishes would have been more authentic Chinese. The Sichuan chicken with mixed vegetables was not spicy at all, a total disappointment. Being Sichuan, I was hoping for a spicy, hot dish. It was pretty bland. When I mentioned this to the hostess, she said that we could have ordered it spicy. My son and I normally drive to Toronto for authentic Chinese, but no longer! Chinese BBQ Zone is the real deal--and is our new favourite spot to eat. An extensive menu, and everything we've tried so far has been delicious! Mapo Tofu, Squid with Spicy Pepper Salt, steamed dumplings, Chong Quin Spicy Chicken and more.
