We were traveling from the US with an RV towing a Ford Escape in late August. The Escape has a Remco transmission pump installed to keep the transmission cool. The pump was malfunctioning. We called the Remco Company and our local service garage. None of their suggestions worked. We finally stopped to see Mike at High River, replaced the old fluid with synthetic and it solved the problem. This guy is good, fast, inexpensive. He saved our day. Then told us we would need to replace the whole thing. We took it into Dads and Ron informed us that it could be fixed no problem, and for much cheaper than buying a new transmission.
