I have been in chiropractic care for over 24 years and the last 22 years have been with Dr. Mitchell. I first went to Dr. Mitchell for back pain and wanted to be done with taking the many prescriptions the doctor had me on. Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. A few years ago I had injured my lower back playing hockey. I could barely walk and after seeing my Doctor, who prescribed me pain killers and anti inflammatory meds, I was seeing no progress. I was referred to Dr.Elkin who after an initial examination which included a scan and ex-ray began my treatment. Within two weeks of treatment I was able to run again and had no set backs. I continued to see him on a regular basis and have always benefited from the treatment and conversation. I would strongly recommend his services to all .

I love to play tennis but over the years I had developed back problems and needed to stop. My sister recommended Dr. Elsie Frickey - a chiropractor who my sister went to see when she had neck problems. I contacted her office and went in to see her. Very kind, and easy to talk to. I explained the type of pains I was getting when trying to play tennis, run and even standing for long periods of time. We went over some options and she had me get some xrays and luckily nothing was showing up as a serious condition, so we moved ahead with some treatments. After a couple of months I'm back playing tennis!
