The people who run this restaurant are always so friendly! To top that off, the food is great. I really enjoy their palak paneer especially. They're also great with accomodating tastes. I like my food spicy, while my other family members are not so keen on it. When I order spice levels all over the map, it's never screwed up. Always perfect for each person. Went for my sons birthday, there was 7 of us - luckily they were able to seat us pretty fast (15 minutes) considering we had no reservation on a saturday night. Got the big momma, SO GOOD! food came surprisingly fast, my husband and I ordered the all you can eat ribs, our waitress refilled our ribs before we were even finished so they came out at the same time as we finished, all of our meals were delicious and then they 'birthday train' came and my son LOVED IT, the horns, the song, everything! Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono! My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. I have a permanent disability, and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. Our waitress was named Sarah and she provided our table with excellent service. She took all our orders properly, and had the food served so quick, considering we were a larger group. My 3 children were quite loud, and yet our server was extremely patient and tolerant of my noisy kids. Most waitresses would never be so tolerant. Dessert was very good also. We had a very good time. Went for a friends party, service was a little slow but it's to be expected when you're with a large group and the place is busy. The music was good, and not too loud so that you can't have a conversation, which I like while I'm out for dinner with friends. I had the Baja Quesadilla(3 friends did as well), the wife got a poutine. It was so good I went back for another one a week later. Good to see a traditional type place with a not so traditional menu. They have everything you'd expect them to (burgers, wings etc..) but they had some great choices that really made me appreciate the variety in their menu. I'm definitely going back again.
