I lived in Greece for 4 years and good gyro is what i really missed from the food. Once i moved to Canada everyone had their idea and place for a good Gyro...to be honest none came even close....Gyros Place in Mississauga on Matheson BLVD though is amazing....I can only say OMG so good...Had chicken gyro and pork one and both were 90% authentic which is in my book practical the same! My husband & I celebrated the last day of the year 2012 at Chef Tommy's. It was our first timethere and we wanted to try something we have never ordered. So we ordered the lamb rack and we were not disappointed! The lamb was so so tender and the presentation was just delightful. The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff quite friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go for greek food. I am also lucky to say that I had the pleasure of having the Shis-Kabob Hut cater my wedding three years ago and we were oh so happy with the results. They served up a great meal to our specifications, and they had to travel 2 hours to get to the venue of the wedding (it was not in peterbourgh) but the food tasted jsut like it was served in the resturant. My husband and I plus all out family and friends are frequent visiters of this great place. Go in and enjoy some great greek food. You will not be disapointed! Lire plus
