I just want to share my experience with everyone about Hair in Style located right by the food court in the mall. There was never ever a bad moment on any appointment Ive had with them. Mary is amazing. I have always struggled with my hair, it usually ends up in a frizzy ponytail, until I met Mary. Not only did she find a flattering hairstyle that I love, she listens to my requests. I have never left unhappy in the four years I have been going to West Endz.

I went to Scruples to get my hair cut, highlighted and styled. I was tired of my natural black hair and wanted to change my look. My haircut was done by Giancarlo, who helped make my thick, bulky looking hair look much more soft and not as heavy as it felt. My highlights and styling was done by Alexandria and I absolutely loved the job she did! She helped me achieve the look I wanted. Overall, I am very impressed with Scruples and will definitely be returning in the future.

I have been going to Irene for years and am moving out of province. Unfortunately I can’t take her with me so I’ll have to return every six month for a cut and style. She is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had, bar none and I’m never disappointed. Even when I am unsure of what style she’s concocting, she confidently assures me “not to worry, you’ll love it” and I do.

I am SO lucky to find Gabriela. I will travel to the ends of the earth for her electrolysis. I will not see anyone else. I have seen excellent results. She is so exceptionally attentive, clean, and a perfectionist - even before Covid - that I always feel safe in her hands. (I lived in the UK for two years and was scarred badly by people who had thriving businesses in posh areas - charging a lot! - but clearly did not know what they were doing.) Not sure about new clients right now though!

I am beyond impressed with their safety measures in place during covid. There are plexiglass dividers between staff and clients, as well as dividers between stations.

Just had my keratin treatment and my hair is gorgeous, paid a bit more but the results are beyond perfect. The place is so covid 19 approved, friendly staff and you feel safe, treated so well and I can’t believe how good their keratin treatment it, I highly recommend it, it’s my 3rd treatment but first time here and I’ll never go anywhere else.

I was frantic about finding the right salon to go to for waxing. Although i was not given an overview of what to expect,the process was very professional and reassuring every step of the way. Temmy washed her hands before she started and asked me to relax. She showed me what to do and immediately started the process. 20 minutes later we are done and the initial sting is significantly reduced.

So warm and friendly! They take their work very seriously and are so kind and personable! Had my nails done by Sarah and they came out better than I could have asked for, my manicure came out so natural and my pedicure came out so vibrant!! Flawless and shiny! They go to great lengths to follow health board laws and everything is so sanitary and clean! I was sent home with the buffers they used on me! On holidays from Australia my nails were four weeks old and really needed doing. I was lucky enough to go into Century Nails. Kate was outstanding. I had my toe nails painted and dip powder (SNS in Australia ) on my nails. Kate’s attention to detail was the best I have ever experienced. She was friendly and very efficient. The salon was clean and very new. I also found the cost was reasonable as well. Wish I lived here so late could do my nails all the time.
