i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right. I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. Mango Rain is a cozy little restaurant run by a hard working young couple. It is a small restaurant located on 1714 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, ON (on a strip mall, south side of Lakeshore). They specialize in authentic Indian and Thai fusion cuisine. Everything is cooked fresh as you order it. They have a small, but good variety of dishes from butter chicken, lamb, vegetarian plates and fantastic naan. Their prices range from $9 (lunch plates) to $16 (dinner plates). They even offer a take-out menu for your convenience. For desserts, they have home-made mango ice cream, topped with cashew nuts that is a must try. You are always greeted with a warm smile in a friendly atmosphere. So if you are looking for a quiet, quaint environment with good quality food and value for your money, give this place a try. Last weekend we were at a friend's house in Mississauga, small birthday party about 22 people with few kids. The host family took us to Bollywood Unlimited for a desert after food. It was an excellent idea. Adults enjoyed there Malai Kulfi & Nutty Kulfi while kids loved the Mango one. After that we all had paans. I think the expense came out to be about $3.00 per person & it was the best way to finish the party. Everybody took a leave from there only & for last few days we are still discussing this experience with our friends over the phone. I would love to finish a party at my home the same way so people can remember it for days to come. Lire plus

They accommodated the changes I wanted made to my order, they called me to let me know that the order was on its way, the delivery person was friendly and helped me set the food up and finally the food (which there was plenty of) was delicious and hot when it came time to eat. This place is amazing. It's been around a long time. We've been coming here for over 7 years. I never revew on yp but I am writing this because I looked them up and saw that they needed a little love on here. My entire family loves it. It's our go-to Indian restaurant in Mississauga. It probably works well for food that's been boiled or fried way too long and now is devoid of taste. Here at Friends, spices supply the flavour. Lots of it! Lovely curries. My wife and I have been going here since they opened about 11 years ago. The flavours are fantastic and our only complaint is that they need to tone down the spiciness (heat) of the food. We keep trying other Indian restaurants in Brampton but always come back to Minar as our favourite. Great food at a great price with an adequate atmosphere. Great Masala Chai & Nan Bread too. as to the washrooms.... they could use a bit of maintenance but are always CLEAN and certainly in better shape than most Indian restaurants we have tried. Here is my unbiased unpaid for review after visiting the restaurant last night. This is a high quality, high end buffet. Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations.
